San Fran

Hello Everyone! (well, if anyone is reading...or cares lol)

i havent blogged in ages. to be honest i forgot i had a blog. but it happens i guess. :P

School has been absolutely insane lately  and i recently missed almost a whole week of school because i was sick. i went to San Francisco on Urban retreat and i got a cold, a pretty nasty one if i do say so myself. 

so i go to school only one day, friday, and i get back and one of my teachers wants me to do a project that is due monday that i didnt even know about! even though in the student handbook it clearly states that i have as many days as i was absent to make up any work but the sub insists that i do it by monday. and get this, everyone else in the class had an entire week of in class work days.

oh well, thats life i guess. i should be working on that project right now, but i am just having fun procrastinating. 

in other news, i went to San Fran! it was uber awesome. i went with my youth choir and we stayed at the Waller Center, which was the very first family shelter in San Fran. i thought that was just rad. it is right in the middle of the Height and Ashbury district, and if you dont know what that is ( i dint until i went, no worries) it is where the whole hippie movement got started and now there are a ton of cool shops and stuff there, all very aclectic and different. but in addition to the cool stuff, there are a ton of homeless people in this area and it just breaks my heart.

when my friends and i went out to shop/ look around we made sandwiches and gave them out. it was really cool and i enjoyed it a lot. 

as we were leaving i saw this homeless couple with a dog asleep on the sidewalk and it was really cold outside so i just set my favorite blanket next to them. i really home that it helps keep them warm :) San Fran get chilly!

anyways i should do my project now... :(

Sleepover/ blue hair!!

Hello!
So last night I was at a sleepover for my really good friend Melissa, her sweet 16!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELISSA!
We Definetly had a crazy time. I wasn't going to sleepover at frost but then I did, so I had to borrow everything, and I am wearing the same clothes as yesterday. But in the end it was all worth it :)
We walked to cvs in the middle of the night and bought pads and toilet paper... you can imagine where this lead us :) we then walked to my friend marys ex boyfriends house and covered his tree in toilet paper and his car, as well as covering the wheels, windows, and lights of his car with pads, which were then smeared with ketchup. Now mind you this was all done in front of his house in the middle of the night, with him in his living room....yeah. Hahaha we then ding dong ditched him and he chased us for what im guessing is close to a mile. So I Definetly got my cardiovascular in lol.
And then we just went back to melissas house and hung out, did girly stuff :) which included me getting a streak of my hair blue, well teal. But unfortunately it is temporary because I go to private school and they don't allow it :(
But none the less, I had an awesome time and I just wanted to share that with you guys.

Where Do I Go?

Hello People!
sorry about that intro, im still not quite sure how i am supposed to start each post, because im pretty sure no one is reading them. these are the moments when i wish i had like a google telescope thingy so i could see how many people bothered themselves......scratch that, i am now seeing that that idea could be con-strewed as creepy, we wouldn't want that :P
So anyways, recently i have been thinking about other places to go on my exchange rather than just France. my mom inst really happy about this idea, and i guess i can see why but at the same time i think its just a little ridiculous. She wants me to go to a country where i can become fluent in french. yeah, im cool with that. but i don't know if i still want to go somewhere as generic as France anymore. Wow. i just reread that and realized how snooty it sounded. okay, rephrasing, Everyone goes to France and i would be cool going there for a college exchange, it doesn't have to be high school. Sound better? i think so.
My point is, i would love to go to Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, Finland, Russia, France, Germany, any of these places. But my mom just doesn't understand. It has lead me to do some thinking and i think im going to do a gap year. probably to one of those places i have listed, and i would love to go now, but i do feel like im kind of being pushed into the France option by my mom. You know what? i think what im going to do is just take the bull by the horns. what i mean by that is im going to take advantage of whatever situation i get, if that is going to france first and then do a gap year somewhere a little more exotic :)
So that is my blog, cough, cough, maybe it was a bit of a winer.....would you like some cheese to go with that wine? hahaha no! LACTOSE INTOLERANT!!!!!!!!!

anyways, i promise this wont be a complaining blog from now on :)

Im sitting in my living room eating a toaster strudel and watching Pirates of the Caribbean trying to think of something amazing to post about as my first blog post, ever. And well, i have thought of nothing witty or clever to say, unfortunately. 
So, I think i will just start with who i am and why in the world i even thought to start a blog. My name is Breena Ross and i am a student currently in high school, well, about to start high school in 20ish days (wish me luck). Ever since the summer before 7th grade all i can think about is being an exchange student. I think about it all day long, before i go to bed, when i wake up in the morning, and quite literally dream about it at night, oh, and i want to go to France. :) 
This is just a mini post to test everything out and to introduce myself to, well,  anyone hahah :)
